Three years ago, Shawna was hanging out with some friends here in Knoxville when she spotted Brian for the first time. After that first look, Shawna told her friends, “I’m going to marry the guy in the blue shirt.” For years Brian was known simply as, “the guy in the blue shirt.” Over time, Brian and Shawna became friends and eventually started dating.

Then, on a vacation in Myrtle Beach with Brian and his family, Shawna’s prediction came true…

Brian lead Shawna down to the beach where his sweet little nieces stood wearing shirts that said, “Will you marry my Uncle B?” Brian perfectly planned out the proposal, he even surprised Shawna with her family and loved ones being there for the whole thing!
